Residing in Denver, CO, Jennifer has spent her entire career in the hospitality technology space on both vendor and property sides of the spectrum. Currently, she owns her own technology consulting firm, “J2 Hospitality Solutions” where she focuses on providing clients insights into a variety of technology offerings to best suit their needs and roadmaps. Offering a range of services, her expertise can be leveraged on tasks such as system selection, contract negotiation, system integration, project management and implementation. In addition, she can lead corporate rollouts of technologies providing consultation on configuration and standardizations as well as managing development requests with vendors when customization is needed. She has been involved in innovative IT projects across the travel and hospitality sector for almost 20 years.
Her background brings the depths of several employers such as mountain resort operator, Intrawest, as the Senior IT Project Manager in Digital Solutions, software vendors, Micros (now a part of Oracle), Four Winds Interactive and Daylight (now a part of Newmarket International) and several years with the Los Angeles-based Hospitality IT consulting firm, RockIT Group. She participates in writing articles for Hospitality Upgrade, is an active member in the Hospitality Financial & Technology Professionals (HFTP) Rocky Mountain Chapter as well as HTNG, and served on the Host User Group (HUG) Board of Directors in 2015.
She graduated from Penn State University’s School of Hospitality Management in 1997 where she travels back to every October to teach hospitality students in their annual Alumni in the Classroom event.
In her spare time, she gets her “Rocky Mountain High” playing in the powder on the slopes in Vail, CO mastering bump runs, shredding the back bowls and partaking in après ski! In addition, she loves to watch college football and support her alma mater, Penn State University. She can also be found in the kitchen cooking and baking up a storm where she loves to entertain for friends.
